This is one of those times where tiny things that piss me off build up on top of each other for years, until finally, one little thing sets it off into a storm of rage and bloodshed. So I say this: Nintendo, what are smoking? Anyone who knows me knows that I am a die-hard Metroid fan, and that Super Smash Bros Brawl is one of my favorite games of all time. So when I hear that E3 is going to be revealing details on the new SSB4, I am thinking, "Oh, this will give me a good idea of what we are looking at." So I sat and watched, and I hadn't seen anything too bad. I mean, the Wiifit character seemed an odd choice, but I can deal with it. But then I see that they have replaced Samus with her Other M counterpart. DAFUQ!? Who in their right mind would put Samus in her Other M armor instead of her Prime armor!? Is the producer drunk, what the hell!? I know that they did it because Other M is the newest game, but Other M was nothing compared to Metroid Prime 1, 2, or 3! They weren't even on the same level! Metroid Other M was an embarrassment to the entire franchise, turning a smart, sexy, powerful bounty hunter into a helpless damsel in distress! I can't understand why SSB4 would possibly want to change that. It doesn't help that Samus is one of my favorite and best characters in SSBB, but to do this... I know that some of you reading this are saying, "What is the deal with this guy? Who gives a shit what armor she wears?", But as any fellow Metroid fan knows. replacing anything from Prime with something from Other M is nothing short of a tragedy.
